We have already logged 130+ entries into this year’s Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards, sponsored by Bristol Airport, meaning we have already broken the records of previous years and judging has now started.

The categories below have a later deadline of 22nd August and you might want to consider an entry into one or more of these.  They are:

  • Customer Service Superstar award, which recognises individuals or teams that regularly go above & beyond, offering exceptional service to visitors
  • The Tourism Event & Festival award, for events and festivals that attract visitors to the area and enhance their stay
  • Age Friendly Tourism Business of the Year - To mark Age UK Somerset's 70th Anniversary, this year there is a special Award to recognise and celebrate those (tourism businesses, attractions, experiences, cafes, restaurants) who have considered the needs of older visitors and go out of their way to create a positive experience for those in later life.  Tourism businesses can self-nominate and nominations will also be invited from members of the public.
  • Outstanding Contribution to Tourism, for an individual, group or organisation that has made a significant contribution to the tourism industry in the area
