This prestigious awards ceremony will take place at the Apex Hotel in Bath on 15th November 2018. The evening will commence at 6.30pm (6pm for sponsors) with drinks, followed by a delicious locally sourced three course dinner, then the awards hosted by Laura Rawlings from BBC Radio Bristol, with dancing till midnight.
Award-winning radio presenter Laura Rawlings hosts the drivetime show on BBC Radio Bristol - following a stint as the corporation’s Breakfast and Afternoon presenter for Bristol and Somerset. Throughout Laura’s decade long broadcasting radio career, her warm voice has been heard hosting news, music and speech shows on stations across the dial from the West Country to Yorkshire.
We are absolutely delighted that Giles Adams and Phil de Glanville will be our guest speakers on the evening. Giles is managing editor of What’s on Somerset magazine and a board member of Visit Somerset. Born at Felton (conveniently close to our lead sponsor Bristol Airport), he now lives at Curry Mallet where he writes about the county.
This black tie dinner is the event of the year for Somerset, Bristol and Bath leading tourism businesses.
