Founded in 1851, St Austell Brewery is an independent, family-owned business. Its award-winning beers – including Tribute, Proper Job IPA, korev, and its first no/low alcohol IPA, Proper Job 0.5% – are distributed nationwide. The company operates two breweries, in Cornwall and Warmley near Bath, owns over 160 pubs across the region, and is the leading drinks wholesaler in the South West, with six distribution centres. In June 2025, it unveiled a refreshed brand identity, underpinned by a long-term sustainability strategy and updated values. In the same year, the brewery was named Best Brewing Pub Company at the prestigious Publican Awards.
