The 2025 Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards have seen a huge growth in entries this year, the highest growth across all the awards run by Service for Tourism in South West England.
With entries now closed, the focus moves to the judging phase. These awards continue to set the bar nationally, having once again achieved “Outstanding” accreditation from the Awards Trust Mark – the highest level. Karen Sutton, Awards Trust Mark lead assessor, said, “A robust entry and judging process is vital, not just for award entrants but for the industry as a whole. It’s important to shine a light on awards schemes that operate with the highest ethical standards and transparency. The tourism awards run by Services for Tourism exemplify how awards should be managed.”
Nell Barrington, Awards Director “It has been fantastic to get so many entries from brilliant businesses. They can be reassured that their entry will be independently scored, and in most categories, the highest-performing businesses will receive a visit from one of our judges. Every judge has completed a rigorous training programme in preparation for their role, and all final decisions will be reviewed by an impartial panel that will meet in the Autumn. All the entrants will get free feedback. A huge thank you to all entrants for getting their entries in on time and to our judges, sponsors and supporters who make these awards possible.”
The winners will be announced at the Tourism Awards Ceremony at the Apex Bath on 20 November 2025.
